About Harvest Christian Academy

Philosophy

Harvest Christian Academy strives to provide a safe, healthy and nurturing quality learning experience for the children in our care by working in partnership with parents and the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning.  We place an equal amount of importance on keeping our center family oriented. In doing so, we create bonds with children and parents that last long past when they leave our program. By creating these bonds it allows us to give each child the tools they need to be successful.

Mission

Our mission is to be the premier Center in our community, promoting academic excellence, social growth, health and spiritual consciousness for children in an experiential learning environment.

Our Growth

As a non-profit organization, we wanted to be a blessing to the community. We envisioned a place where parents, of all ethnicities and cultural backgrounds, could bring their children to get exceptional quality child care for a reasonable tuition. So, on August 13, 2007, we opened our doors. We offered a brand new building with two playgrounds, security cameras in all classrooms and playgrounds, and large colorful classrooms. Since we opened our doors, we have strived to build our level of quality learning.

Currently, we are seeking accreditation through the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation. With the help of the Early Start Child Care Resource & Referral Agency, we have been working diligently to improve the quality of our program. Our teachers are required to continue their own development through training and workshops.
